The PS3 launched in Europe and Australia and in London, they were giving away free 46″ HD televisions with every PS3 purchase!! WTF is that about? They have to give people a television worth twice as much as the console just to get people to buy their machine. That’s nuts. If they had done that in the US I might’ve considered buying a PS3 just for the free TV. Then I would’ve sold the PS3 and the TV, gotten a better TV, and kept the change.
I also saw this picture yesterday. This store has 72 preorders available the day before the system launches. Apparently they really are having a hard time just giving them away, heh.
