What’s your vibe?!

Tuesday, February 28th, 2006

Nintendo has finally let me down…

They’ve made a game called Super Princess Peach where you have to save Mario. You go around collecting toads, breaking open bags with bows on them to get coins, and crying (yes, crying) to…do some stuff? Oh, and you can set yourself on fire to burninate things apparently… And make sure you collect crystals to get your vibe gauge up!

Make sure you go try out all the super fun things to do on the website! Playing with the mood ring to find our your vibe! Create your own Super Princess Peach mini mag! Play the Parasol Fall mini game! Make your own Princess Peach t-shirt (Don’t mess with a princess!).

“He’s not your friend. Jump on his head and give him a headache.”

In summary, this game is a whole lot like Mario, but for people who thought Mario was a little too manly of a game for them.

*sigh*

I’m Featured in a Book!!

Monday, February 27th, 2006

I found out last week my project and website are mentioned in a book. Pretty sweet. My Magnetic Ajax project is mentioned in the Professional Ajax book on page 68 according to the index. My virtual stuff has made the transition to the non-virtual world. w00t!

…ok, so not featured exactly, but still kind of neat!

About freakin’ time

Finally the days of having to talking to humans to order food are ending. Now at the Taco Bell / KFC in Morrisville, NC you can order via touch screen! w00t!! I was getting tired of the people always screwing up my order, so this is perfect. Look out Taco Bell employees. Your jobs are about to be replaced by computers.

That’s Hot

An Indian director, T. Rajeevnath is making a movie about Mother Theresa and is currently searching for someone to play the title role of Mother Theresa. Of all the people he could have possibly selected to short list, he went with none other than Paris Hilton. I’m not so sure he knows who Paris Hilton is…

He said he was impressed by her decision not to pose nude in Playboy, so he shortlisted her. I’m pretty sure the similarities end at them both not having posed in Playboy.

I, for one, am not seeing any sort of resemblance:

I think Rajeevnath needs to check out some of Paris’ prior work. She was definitely at her acting best in House of Wax when she was impaled through the face.

I can see the dialogue now. “Hey Nicole, let’s start, like, a charity…that’d be hot. I wanna be, like, a saint and stuff. That’s hot. So hot. Hot.”

Uhh…Definitely Not

I was at Hallmark with my brother last night looking at greeting cards, and I saw one that should absolutely not exist. It had something sincere about love on the outside, and then on the inside a second little card glued to the inside that was shaped like a heart. On the inside of that it said, “Will you marry me?”

If there is anyone out there who actually buys this kind of card, I want to know about it so I can kick them in the face. If you use a mass produced greeting card to propose to your girlfriend, I hope she says no.

It’s a sad person who has to go to corporate America to get help in asking for their girlfriend’s hand in marriage.
