It seems that some people / corporations just suck big time at coming up with new (made-up) words. The case in point is Pizza Hut. These people are just horrible at inventing words. I keep seeing this stupid commercial with Queen Latifah talking about their new “Dippin’ Strips Pizza.” And while the idea for the pizza isn’t necessarily bad, the manner in which it’s described is.
Queen Latifah uses the phrase “dippinomically designed” to describe the pizza. Dippinomically? Are they serious? That’s a horrible made up word. As the self-appointed authority on the suckatudinality of neologisms, I strongly disapprove of Pizza Hut’s new word.
Whoever at Pizza Hut came up with that word needs to be taken out back and kicked in the face. We are all dumber for having heard it. I award them no points, and may God have mercy on their soul.
