Have you ever wondered how they get deer to cross the road at that yellow road sign? They had these signs along the road on the way to the park, and I didn’t understand how they could be so accurate with it. One of the signs had a picture of a deer on it and it said “0.7 miles ahead.” Why not 1 mile? Do people go study where deer cross the street and just assume they’ll always cross there?
And why do they always have to have pictures of the deer prancing on the signs? I’m pretty sure they just kinda mosey across the road. They certainly don’t strut…or do they? Maybe they do and they’re like, “Yeah…look at me, I’m a deer and I’m crossin’ the road. What’re you gonna do about it?” And it’s totally prancing, cause prancing is “to spring forward on the hind legs,” which is what that picture looks like to me.
If I was a deer, I’d cross the street wherever the hell I felt like crossing. I wouldn’t listen to the man.
At least it makes more sense than this sign.
