Microsoft wrote this article that is intended to help parents understand what their kids are talking about online, but they focus on leetspeek. I’m pretty confident that most of the kids that talk online aren’t talking in leetspeek. They need to focus on the acronyms that are commonly used. I doubt the majority of kids are gonna be into the warez scene. And they say that people who use “pwn3d” are bullies, or “griefers.” What the crap is a griefer…no one knows what that is Regis. I also really like this bullet:

“pron”: An anagram of “porn,” possibly indicating the use of pornography.

hahaha…”possibly indicating the use of”….hahaha, that sounds like it’s a tool to be used for some greater purpose. “hron: an anagram of “horn,” possibly indicating the use of a horn to show animosity towards another driver.” If your children are using the hron often, they may be suffering from road rage.
