Time Warner can suck it

Time Warner screws everyone out of money…spread the word!!

So, say you have regular cable and your bill runs from the 19th of the month to the 18th of the next month. You decide to upgrade your service on the 6th of the month…right in the middle of your billing cycle. So you’ve got two weeks of the previous month’s bill that you haven’t had the newer service. Time Warner doesn’t prorate retroactively for their service — meaning that if you sign up for a service in the middle of the month, they charge you for the entire month, not just the two weeks of the billing period that you’ll have the service for.

The Time Warner representative told me that this is how it worked but that “their intent isn’t to screw you out of money.” I say, “Eff that s!”. That’s exactly what they’re doing.

I propose we start a website…perhaps http://www.timewarnerblowsgoats.com, to gather people together to start a grassroots effort to get them to change their crappy service and their billing system “features” that just happen to screw you out of a lot of money if you want to upgrade your service.

Time Warner…a pox on thee I claim!!
