I went to lunch at Arby’s today. It should be noted that I haven’t been to Arby’s in a long time. They’ve apparently “friendlyicized” their restaurants. When I walked in the door, no less than 6 people said, “Hi!”, “Welcome to Arby’s!”, or “How’re you doing?” It was disturbing…it almost made me want to just turn around and leave. I don’t know about you, but I don’t wanna be subjected to an onslaught of greetings by Arby’s empolyees. Then to top that off they have a bell that you can ring on your way out if they, “made your day.” They did…but not in the manner that I believe was intended. And on the way out, I received two “Bye’s”, two “Have a good afternoon’s”, and a “Drive safe.” Oh, I was actually planning on driving recklessly today…but since Arby’s has instructed me not to, I think I’ll change my mind.
Thanks for saving my life today Arby’s! I owe you one.
Don’t you hate it when people on TV call slashes backslashes when they’re telling URL’s to people. Then they trip up trying to say backslash and they’re like, “I get tripped up saying backslash.” And all the while you’re screaming at the TV, “IT’S SLASH, NOT BACKSLASH YOU MORON!” I didn’t think it was that hard, cause one points forward and the other points back. That’s like confusing open parentheses and close parentheses.
That, frankly, will not fly
