I swear we live in the most moronic state in the country. Only in North Carolina can a third of an inch of snow warrant six straight hours of live coverage on the news.
Then…after the roads are basically 95% clear and perfectly fine, people decide they still need to drive really really slowly. There were no accidents and no construction delays (I called the DOT 511 line) on I-40 and it was backed up for twenty-six miles. That’s right, 26 miles! 20 miles of which is four lanes. This was also at 8:30 PM. Not even close to rush hour.
If all these dumb people who get freaked out over a third of an inch of snow ever moved to somewhere where they actually get winter weather, the people who live there would probably euthanize them all for being terminally retarded.
