These are a few of the things I predict will happen in 2005…let’s see if any of them come true or not.
- Content distribution will change dramatically…the big corporations will finally realize that they can’t win.
- Exeem won’t become the next big thing, but it will be a first step. A program along the lines of Exeem will emerge as an open source alternative (without ads) and won’t have any billing address behind it (like Exeem does), and the corporations won’t know how to stop it.
- The spinners on wheels fad will die.
- Firefox will increase it’s market share to at least 13%.
- Something major will happen to Electronic Arts and the Nazi regime that runs it…but they’ll try to buy a lot of the other game studios first — like they are with UbiSoft.
- Saddam Hussein will be sentenced to death.
So this is the new year, and I don’t feel any different
