OH…MY….GOD

We just got back from seeing The Grudge and then SAW….

The Grudge was pretty good….I liked it a lot up until the end. The ending was a little too abrupt, but other than that, it was good.

There was also a preview for this new movie called White Noise that looks pretty cool…it’s about E.V.P. (Electronic Voice Phenomenon).

Now SAW…..it was the most fucked up movie I have ever seen…hands down. I would just say “messed up” but that doesn’t provide enough emphasis. The stuff that they do to people is just horrible. It was seriously twisted. It’s very creative though, definitely deserves the “horror” label, and is worth watching. *edit* – I decided to edit this a little…after thinking about it, I think SAW was very good…it was definitely suspenseful and it gives you a swift kick to the sack at the end when you find out what’s goin’ on…crazy pants is what it is.

SAW is definitely not for anyone who’s squeemish or easily disturbed though.

…shudders…

Awesome!!!

We saw Death Cab For Cutie last night and it was amazing!! They played Title and Registration and Photobooth…w00t!

I also got my tickets the other day to see Maynard Ferguson play at Blues Alley in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 20th. That’s gonna be freakin’ awesome. I’ll take some pictures there probably.

Goin’ to hang out in Boston in a week and a half…good times…good times.

I’ll tell you mine.

Guest List FTW!

So I went to Charlotte last night and Kip and I went to see As Tall As Lions, The Lyndsay Diaries, and The Spill Canvas at Tremont Music Hall. It was totally awesome. Cliff called while we were eating and said he put me on the guest list so we got to get in for free. How sweet is that?!

Death Cab For Cutie is next Monday!!! w0000t!

Man, so I really suck at this updating the log thing. I did add a bunch of updates to the site. Some more photos and some sweet new desktop wallpapers. Click on the new Wallpapers link on the left to check em out. So there’s only 12 more days until the Death Cab For Cutie concert. It’s gonna be so totally awesome it’ll knock your socks on your ass.

I’m going to Boston in a couple weeks so I’ll have pictures up from there as soon as I get back. It should be pretty nice up there since it’s Fall and all.

I think I’m also gonna go to Denver, Colorado one weekend too pretty soon…I’ve never been to the Rockies so I’m pretty excited about seein’ that.

I remember when the days were long and the nights when the living room was on the lawn.

Crazy story

Sunday, October 3rd, 2004

So Death Cab For Cutie is playing two shows in Chapel Hill on Oct. 24th and 25th….and I had to get tickets to go since they’re one of my favorite bands right. So I was going to buy my tickets online last Monday night so I’d be sure I had one…and they were both sold out!! So naturally I started freaking out cause I have to be at this show. So I collect all the numbers of the places to call the next morning to find out if they had tickets left. I even called and left a message at the Cat’s Cradle to call me and stuff because I desperately wanted tickets. I called School Kids 9:30 the next morning and they said they had 15 tickets left and they wouldn’t hold any for me. So me and Paul went at lunch to go get tickets and we got the last 5 tickets they had. Like 2 seconds after we asked for the tickets, some other guy came in and asked if they had any left, and the dude was like, nope, these guys just got the last ones. If we hadn’t found a parking spot or somethin’ we wouldn’t have gotten tickets at all…how crazy is that?

I really should update this more often…I’ll start doin’ that…starting…now
