So, I’m gettin’ bad about this whole updating thing…I’ll update more starting next week when I get a better schedule.

Tim and I went and saw Chuck Palahniuk yesterday (Wednesday) at the bookstore in Chapel Hill, and it was awesome! He read Guts…I’ve heard it before, and I kinda wish he’d read somethin’ new, but it’s ok…it was still great. If you’re interested in reading it, you can read it here. You can also listen along while he reads it here. Be forewarned though, it is very explicit and not for the weak of stomach or those are offended easily. It’s probably one of, if not the most disgusting and grotesque stories you’ll ever read. Don’t say I didn’t warn you if you get offended or puke or what have you. We also got our books signed and he took a picture with us. I’ll put those up in a few days.

I also start my new job at IBM this Monday…finally. I’ll be doing web development for them.

If I was in World War two they’d call me spitfire

Yeah, so I just watched Mean Girls because I had nothing else to do…I know what you’re thinking, but it really wasn’t bad at all and actually had some pretty funny parts. It was based on a book after all, so that at least gives it more credibility. The weirdest part though is the very end when they start playing Halcyon + On + On by Orbital…very strange.

I’m bought a TV today too…it’s totally sweet.

Seattle was awesome! All those people who were like, “why’re you goin’ to Seattle for, it rains there all the time…” can stab themselves in the eye with a fork. It didn’t rain once there the entire week, and here in North Carolina there were like 42 hurricanes. It’s also really cool there; the average temperature was about 62 degress. How awesome is that? Very awesome is how…

We saw The Unicorns live in Seattle too. They were a lot of fun and told a guy to shut up when he yelled at them to play a song.

I also got offered and accepted a job at IBM in RTP last week which is totally sweet. I’ll be doing web development and start sometime next week. If you want to know exactly what I’ll be doing you can ask me later.

Long time no post

So I haven’t posted anything here in a week and a half or so. I’m currently in Seattle visiting Peter. It’s a super nice city and I like it a lot. It’s cool cause it’s big, but there’s not a hojillion people or obscene amounts of traffic. It’s also not ever 90 freakin’ degrees and humid like at home…which I like, since I like colder temperatures anyway.

I passed a store yesterday when I was walking around that sold nothing but dildos. I had no idea there were shops dedicated to only selling dildos.

We saw Napoleon Dynamite the other day…it was really funny. I recommend it. I think we’re gonna check out Open Water today or tomorrow to see what the big deal is. I also had my first Thai food experience, and I can honestly say that enjoyed it quite a bit.

The whole time zone thing blows your mind at first cause you have no idea what time it is…especially if you wake up at 4:00 AM EST to catch your plane…then go to bed at 1:00 AM PST later that day…that’s 24 hours but it didn’t seem like it for some reason.

Make sure you check out the pictures.
